Pain is the pathway

This week we have been discussing all this self care and healing. 

From candle-lit baths, to self-tummy massage, to just taking ten breaths in the car before work!

Getting swept up in your stories I realised something. Each of these journeys to self care was birthed from a desire to heal. 

To find calm within the chaos of whatever life throws at you. 

My own healing journey started from a curiosity to fix my feet after a sporting injury. 

That’s how I found Pilates. 

Then, when my body was grieving and needed a physical release allowing the tears to flow;  I stumbled upon massage

Lately I have been using self-abdominal massage to help heal my gut after a nasty bacterial infection… and it seems to be working

So, pain is a pathway.
